“Incredible start to our MLD deer hunting season. Floyd Rogers took this beautiful buck this week scoring 188 1/8. Although we have been blessed with great rains in the area the last 8 weeks, we had a dry spring and a 6 week stretch of 100 + temps and winds blowing 20mph + June into July. Our food plots were opened in May but only lasted through June because of no rain.
We’ve kept the protein feeders full since January with Double Down and our deer herd didn’t skip a beat going through a 1000lbs a week at multiple feed stations. Here are the results. Great mass and overall great results.
